Hyperlive
New Album Out Now

Although already one of the leading DJ lights in the new slightly left of centre world of dance music, Hyper really does seem to have taken on a new life of its own in the last few years. His second album SUICIDE TUESDAY is released in the Autumn of 2008 and marks the next stage of Hyper the band.

The album, coming out on Hyper’s KILOWATT RECODRINGS label features the ever-present talents of Hyper and Jim Davies (guitar/Vox) but adds the fresh and exciting vocal talents of Axe-girl and Odessi. The album’s tracks have already been heard on CSI and Ugly Betty TV shows and first single CENTRE ATTRACTION is receiving huge acclaim even before any promotional campaign begins. It’s going to be a great 18 months for the band that oozes pop sensibilities, punk energy and electronic style. Catch ‘em while you can.

HISTORY:
The debut artist album ‘We Control’ introduced his live band to the world and with shows as far a field as Moscow/Seoul/Miami and home UK festivals highlights such as Glastonbury set the tone for a greatly received record. We Control was a nod to the days of the Punk Rock revolution as it is to Cutting Edge Electronic Culture. It grabbed the attention of most DJs worth their salt at Radio 1 and (Mr Tong (‘Very Fresh’), Annie Nightingale, Annie Mac and Fergie); the sagely Steve Lamacq and Eddie Temple Morris have also been in on the act from the start. Even the world of big business have taken to Hyper’s sound! Most notably the use of We Control on the Peugeot 207 car campaign; trailers and films scores for Fox; and tracks on computer games from EA and Sony Playstation.

The Suicide Tuesday album is available to buy now on iTunes, or the CD is out 27th October (Pre-order from Amazon here.

CENTRE ATTRACTION
Floor tom driven digital Punk rock with vocals from Jim Davies, A live favourite that sticks the knife into the heart of celebrity. The distinctive sound has already seen it snapped up for usage on CSI New York.

LET ME IN
A powerful, thrashy electronic noise with energy explosions. Sharp synths and guitar onslaught combine with Leeroy’s vocal to make 3 minutes of mayhem.

I'M AN IMAGE
Dropping the tempo, Hyper dirty it up with a lo slung chugger full of analogue synths and heavy beats perfectly contrasted by Charlotte’s (from The Subways) soft, Siouxsie style vocal delivery.  Already a favourite with many!

JABBA
A straight up club record for the naughties, this track bounces along incessantly and is heavily influenced by the `French' sound.  The beautiful and melodic bitcrushed guitar breakdown is a highlight of the album... and then the madness begins again...

TOUCH
The first of two all out uptempo belters, Touch was an experiment in seeing what it's like to work at 150 plus bpm. A Myspace favourite already, Leeroy Thornhill’s glitched up vocal adds a new level to this track. Pure Punk energy with a club smashing breakdown. Another killer in the live set!

REPLICA
The natural follow up to `We Control', Replica is a stab driven pile driver of a track with an angry Odissi delivering the killer vocal delivery.  Already seen on CSI Miami, Ugly Betty and a Sony Playstation race track time killer!

DETERIORATE
Time to slow it down again.  Hyper dive into analogue synth squelchiness for an Electronic glitch up featuring vocal snippets from Keiron Pepper.

NO ROCKSTARS
Hyper's club smash from late last year (co written with Vandal) makes a welcome appearance as a glue sniffing New York hardcore fan welcomes the fact there are `no rockstars now, you know?'.    Anthemic and heavy in equal proportion, this has devastated dancefloors across the world as well as genres.

PUSH IT
The second of the two uptempo experiments, the boys have been finishing off their live sets to this to much acclaim. 'Push It' (once again vocalled by Leeroy Thornhill) is a Jam inspired, Electronic shout along with a thunderous bassline!  Watch out for that breakdown again.

IT'S SICK
Started life as a club monster with some west coast leanings, Hyper (in cahoots with Vandal again) brought in Axe-Girl and doubled its original intent.
